i blew $135.xx on that pair of chaco sandals!!! i knew i shouldnt have! cos i'm not feeling thaaat much happier.. mannnnnn... ok, but they're good sandals tt will not give me blisters (riteeee....). thing is, my tevas are in good condition.. juz that the thought of them having plastic parts holding the straps together scares me.. like so many peoples' tevas spoil on treks cos the plastic parts break.
the whole thing is one continuous strap for chacos..(so it's friggin tedious to adjust..) it looks lyke deeeeees:

i got the rubymint one.. it's green with red specks... actually.. not like the colour matters after u hit the mountain :b

i saved $60!! (they were $194.xx) it's a long term investment.
( the 1001 ways i try to convince myself tt i didnt waste my $$.. not v convincing huh..)
the d2d thingy is evil... argh.
ting says i can wear my tevas on mon, birks no.1 on tue, chacos on wed, birks no.2 on thurs... and choose frm the remaining heels/ sandals/ slippers i have to wear on fri.
i dug out a mountain load of bags while packing my room.. i guess there're at least 50 of them.

i'm not a compulsive buyer! i juz have a short attention span.
and it applies to everything.

sueann is my little fair friend, who buanged the family car twice, and is jealous that i got to play at the beach and she didnt.
someone ever told me sthing bout the no. of tries u had at getting ur driving licence... it's either u pay more trying to get ur licence or u pay more repairing the buanged parts of the car.

hm..they are also dedicated to... the "one who insists tt he's the best friend".. u were so nice to send me to the airport and bear with all my nonsense after i juz completed my part of the project...minzy & the 2 lians who somehow completed the project.... jord who lent me his windbreaker n silk liner... ian for your goretex... they all kept me warm and comfy (: ...ting & dian.. for all the rubbish we did in the tents... ting for being the friggin funny roomie :b... paul for being the "porter"... heng & comm for organising one of the best trekking trips i've ever had (:
